Also very comfortable beds and the rooms were quite spacious for our needs. I also found the staff working on the reception to be very helpful."

"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly. Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal! The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere. Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine. Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again"

"Excellent spa with wonderful sauna and steam room. In the shadow of the Cathedral, 1/2 block from the Alte Markt area with restaurants everywhere. 1/2 block from the river park and the main train station, yet easy to drive to with indoor parking garage. Comfortable bed, great shower. Awesome hotel."
