"The house is clean and pleasant. There is very little wrong with it and the location is nice. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back and would certainly recommend the rental. Things that could be even better - a bit picky but here they are... The beds are a bit soft and new mattresses would be good. The TV was pretty difficult to use and may need reconfiguring - or it might be me! The parking is OK but not particularly user friendly and the barn is a bit dilapidated. The walk to the woods is pretty scary as the lane is used by motorists that seem perpetually wanting to speed and seem genuinely surprised that anyone would walk along the lane. I realise there is not much the owners can do... unless it was possible to create private access via the field margin behind the properties."

"Very nice chalet indeed. I was only there for one night as i was working in the hospital. And sadly didn't get much chance to look around the farm and animals. But the chalets are set in beautiful surroundings. Inside the chalets there is a small but functional kitchenette with fridge, microwave a plug in hob and all the utensils you could need. Also some breakfast cereals, milk and a loaf of bread which are complimentary. I received an email from Kerri explaining everything in the surrounding area pubs, restaurants and much more. Definitely worth a visit, i would definitely stay there again and would love to take my wife. I think it would be perfect for families with children."

"Lovely place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the ones in the courtyard are quite modern. The site is accessible and there is plenty of parking available. All the staff were lovely, but the young man that did our meet and greet was so helpful. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the rooms, and oat milk cartons, which pleased my wife she normally has to request this. The bar has a good selection of beers, including real ales and is used by a lot of the locals, so always a good sign. Without doubt the food at the site is some of the best pub food I have ever eaten, if its available I would highly recommend the Comfit Belly of Pork. The next time we stay we will have to ensure the Pizza Oven in the garden area is available, as I would love to try their Pizzas!"

"Although it is a beautiful big house I felt that for the price paid it lacked some refinements, i.e (1) there were no bedside table lamps in four of the bedrooms (2) the bedding was inferior as the quilts on the double beds were wafer thin (3) the fan in the family bathroom was very noisy so had to turn it off (4) there were no coffee/side tables in the lounge to put your drinks on (5) there was no wardrobe/hanging space for clothes in one of the en-suite bedrooms (6) Sink plug doesn’t work in kitchen sink BUT apart from these few gripes, which I hope is constructive criticism for you, we had a really lovely time celebrating my son’s 40th birthday and the house was very welcoming and in a good location. I would recommend it with the above changes. Many thanks."
