"Overall nice place to stay for one or two people. It’s newly remodeled so that’s nice. I stayed with my dog and it was nice to walk either in backyard or around the neighborhood. Walkable to pretty much anything you need. Great restaurants all around. Would recommend. Good communication from host."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Lotus. Gary is a great host - extremely responsive. House is very cute and cozy. Kitchen is compact but very functional. The real star is the backyard pool area. Several sitting areas both shaded and in the sun. The landscaping is really pretty with plenty of palm trees. Believe it or not, it’s even nicer than the pics. Very convenient location - max 15-20 minute drive to most places you’d want to go."

"Bullets- Furniture was bought from Walmart and garage sales. Not a single switch turned on a light in any room The shower curtain fell down during each shower and in the middle of the night 2x. It is to short if that helps. The comforter had stains on it (looked like wine or blood. You could tell they do not wash them simply by the smell- All 3 Each morning it was in the 40’s. No available heat. No screens in the windows to let in fresh air. One roll of paper towels and no garbage bags....

"The apartment was clean and ready upon arrival. It's perfect for one or two people to staycomfortably. The outdoor space is amazing. I had my own private fenced yard area with a covered dining table. There was an outdoor tv and lighting if you want to sit outside in the evening. The best part is is that it's about a 2 minute walk to the beach."

"We stayed at Casa Colorida during the Tortuga Music Festival. This house is adorable and exactly as captured in the pictures. The host is incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating. I left a box of jewelry behind and the host was honest and sweet to mail it back to me. She made sure everything was intact. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. It is also in a good location with quick access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back!"

If you need a concierge, bellman, and room service, this ain’t the place. If you’re self-sufficient and value peace and privacy, this is your spot."
