"While the building itself is a little dated from the outside, the room was very clean, bright and spacious. I prefer firmer beds/pillows so it was a little too soft for me, but this doesn't apply for everyone obviously. The lake is beautiful - highly recommend waking up for sunrise! "

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We liked sitting on the decks, both front and back. These were great places to read a book or just chat. Very peaceful and quiet. We also liked watching the sunsets from the dock and exploring the nearby towns. The cottage itself was well equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. And we really enjoyed the campfire pit. Overall, I’d have no hesitation recommending it to anyone looking for a bit of time at a nice cottage by a lake."

"Marjan's cottage was perfect from the very first day we checked in! I stayed here with my family including my dog so I'm very happy that this cottage was pet friendly! Marjan had 2 bowls for my pet and even had a wonderful enclosed deck where my dog could play and be safe. The check in process was very easy as Marjan communicated with me in a timely manner and told me what to do to check in as soon as I arrived on her property. The kitchen, the living room, the dining room and all 4 bedrooms were very clean, beautifully decorated, had warm blankets and super clean bedsheets which is something that I am highly impressed with. The dining room area also had a swinging egg chair which was very comfortable to use. The dining table was large to accommodate all of my family and the kitchen was very impressive because Marjan had everything for us that we could possibly need and use in a kitchen for cooking. She had all of the species, cutlery, cooking utensils, gloves for the oven, Ziploc bags, coffee, teas, candles, a lighter and so many more items! Another great thing about her cottage is that she had Netflix which saved us on the rainy days as we stayed home at her cottage and watched movies on Netflix! She also had a heater in every room and had a laundry with laundry detergent. She had a pool table, an outdoor fireplace, a BBQ and the most beautiful backyard with a scenic view of nature all around full of trees. We loved the lights on the deck and loved every bit of her cottage!"

"The cabin was exactly as advertised. Communication with the host was superb. My husband and I stayed there for 8 nights in early May. A few things we really liked: - cozy indoor fireplace for cool rainy days - nice appliances including a dishwasher - thoughtful kitchen items like coffee, salt/pepper, sugar, oil - a big window and nice balcony to enjoy the view - comfortable sofas and good hot water - availability of kayaks and life jackets - close to Algonquin park for hiking The only minor negative was a squeaky bed in the largest bedroom, but overall we slept pretty well. 10/10, would definitely stay here again."
