"Really comfortable room bedding pillows lovely , slept so well , very peaceful room everything we needed Very tasty dinner , really thought the facilities were good and stayed there in preference to Poole ( going on ferry next day ) as a safer option parking car , would recommend and hope to stay there again thank you "

"Easy check in and we managed to get a space parked outside. Room was a good size with a comfy bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a good size bathroom, with a few toiletries. Breakfast had plenty of food to choose from and they provided vege sausage and boiled eggs when we asked for them. Pool was a bonus. It was small and very warm, but nice to relax in. Collect and sign for towels and key to the pool at reception. Jacuzzi wasnt working. Less than 10 mins walk to Gunwharf Quay and the historic dockyard, 5 mins walk to the train station, and about 15 mins walk to the centre of town."

"We went for dinner in the evening. Chad was great at setting up the table and was very attentive. Holly went into the wine cellar for us and managed to find the last bottle of red in the cellar that we ordered!"

"Perfect hotel for our one night stay. Receptionist kindly upgraded our room upon arrival having established both mine and my partners caregiver roles and our request for a peaceful nights rest. The room was fantastically clean and although the hotel was of an age, the upkeep of it was admirable. All staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning as soon as our duties permit"
