"Our stay at this hotel was great value for the money we paid. It is quite a basic hotel, no frills but our room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with friendly service. The hotel is in a great location for surrounding towns and attractions. "

"Beautiful room with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The hot tub wasn't working when we first came into the room, but the staff were happy to sort it for us. We also ordered pizza and it was delivered to the room free of charge and was tasty, but the breakfast was even better! "

"We missed our first night due to being stranded by fog on the Isles of Scilly. So our stay wasn’t as long as we had hoped. I called ahead and, while understandable, it was unfortunate that we couldn’t get compensation for the night we missed given they managed to rent the room to someone else. Also, and this is not a criticism of this particular property., just a general comment fir all. Having bus and train schedules available would be brilliant. Thank you and we will certainly recommend and book again at Oldfields Patricia and Neil"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was tidy and clean. The lift wasn't working but we were advised well in advance. The only downside was a leak on the shower but didn't retract from our visit."
