"Me and my wife can say we were so happy with this vip hideaway lodge its was perfect the hot tub was an excellent perk to it and I have to say the views and scenery was amazing seeing the rabbits come out at night and seeing the peacocks walk around freely was lovely everyone there was so friendly and polite itâ€™s a very tranquil destination on Park fishing was a lot of fun and the staff was so polite and respectful I would highly recommend everyone gives it a chance itâ€™s worth every penny...

"Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. "Was a fab chilled week away. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was awesome. Great location for national trust visiting and other historic places or if you wanted shopping there were towns for that. The lodge had everything you need. Downsides minor.. tv not having any signal but we knew our Netflix account so could watch that. People walking their dogs at night round the back of lodge with their torches when youâ€™re in hot tubâ€¦ frightens the life out of you!! ðŸ¤£"

"All the staff were friendly and professional. The room was a refurbished one and it was lovely and clean. The pool was fabulous and warm, also there was a nice scent to it. I had a refreshing facial with Amanda, who was excellent and gave me some much-needed advice. The hotel is in need of some renovation, however it looks like that's already in progress. It cant all be done at once, it's not a criticism as I saw on some of the reviews. They are doing their best. On the Sunday night, I didnt enjoy my meal much. The salad wasnt very nice and the flatbread was hard. On the Monday night there was a long wait as hotel very busy, and not enough staff on. Those who were, however, were very friendly and professional. The dessert was a hot one, yet the custard not very warm. On the whole, I loved it. It was quiet and peaceful. I spent some time in the garden. The room and bed were comfy. All areas were tastefully and cosily decorated/furnished. I wanted to stay another night, mainly to enjoy more spa time & peace. But unfortunately I wasnt too well so had to go home. I do hope to return another time though. I was by myself yet I felt properly looked after by all the staff, so i didnt feel alone. A big thanks to everyone and I definitely recommend this place."
