"We were not sure what to expect before arriving at The Pell, but we had the most amazing stay. We didn’t want to leave and actually considered extending our stay. Our room was large and comfortable, everyone was so nice and helpful, and the food and coffee were great. The hotel was very close to all of the sites in Newport; location was very convenient. The price we paid for what we got was an insane steal and we will definitely be returning when we go back to Newport. One of our favorite trips to date."

"The location is fantastic- it’s right across from the beach and within walking distance of Cliff Walk. There are places to eat also within walking distance and a very short drive to downtown Newport. The room we had was clean and had a great view. The breakfast was a nice touch and any minor issue we had was handled promptly by the staff. (Needing another blanket or vending machine needing to be refilled!) Just note that the elevator is slow and a little small/clunky but it works and is up to code! It’s not fancy- more like a beach vibe- and was a great stay."

"My stay here was great. The staff was very helpful and Felicia took care of my reservation request very professionally. The bed is comfortable and the room updated and spacious. Breakfast was a plus with a nice buffet and good coffee."

"Amenities were nice like the shuttle into town and bikes and overall property, but we booked a balcony room and they didn’t have one so we got a different room. They also shut the bike use down as we came during off season and that wasn’t noted anywhere. Some lights didn’t work properly in the room and the espresso machine was broken and no coffee machine."
