No sunday roasts or any buns/bread left, none of the starters we ordered were available, no hand cut chips... not sure why they took reservations. Very disappointing, unfortunately wouldnt recommended for this reason "

We will definitely visit again at a different time of year, as the hotel is well placed to visit places of interest. "

"Staff and food excellent. Booked a Superior Double room at £172, unfortunately we got a family room with a single bed and what looked like a Queen bed. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling and a light hanging out, bare wires above the bedroom mirror, heating was not on and we came back to a cold room, had to get the staff to sort the heating out, and although there is tea and coffee in the room with a kettle, there was no milk provided and so we could not make a cuppa in the morning."
