"Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for...

"I had booked the whole lodge to host my birthday dinner and it was magical! the setting, the decor, the overall feel and atmosphere of the picturesque property was second to non. A real treat ! the most comfortable beds and duvets, magnificent views, wonderfully peaceful, everything we could have asked for and more. Highly recommend for a truly magnificent weekend away."

"We spent two weeks in this lovely cottage. It was very peaceful and quiet. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially the homemade bread. Tim, the owner,, made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful large garden. on our return from a day out.On the last day our ferry had been cancelled and Tim was there to help us. We wouldn't hesitate to book again."

"Firstly have to say Henry Adams staff have been amazing as due to our house sale falling through we could extend our stay no problem. The house is in a perfect location and lovely garden for the pups, great gardener and communication with HA staff.. The home is very dated and unfortunately uncomfortable (we ordered a sofa early just to have somewhere comfortable to relax ) I didn’t feel it was cleaned very well when we arrived but that was rectified quickly! "Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area."
