"room was lovely and clean, just what was needed for an overnight, the bar a lovely space to sit and chat, food looked great but we didnt have any. "

"The corridors, room and swimming pool / sauna areas were terrible. No warnings that the property was undergoing refurbishment. Guest services were rude invading personal space. Communication was poor. Sauna switched off and wasn't advised it takes 15 minutes to heat up."

"The staff in every area were incredible, we had a 3yr old and a 5yr old and the room with sofa bed was more than ample. We felt like one night wasn’t enough as we had such a great stay. Dinner at Brickworks and the breakfast next morning was superb. "

"Room was compact but ok Clean & warm -visited in December Safe didn’t work which may have been batteries but was an overnight stay so not a big issue Found bfast strange -started with fruit juice, cereal, toast & croissants -the latter usually served after full English. I found a hair in my scrambled egg which I’d eaten & had to remove from my mouth -not pleasant. Girl serving who was doubling as a receptionist didn’t apologise which I thought odd & asked me to put on a plate so she could show kitchen. I couldn’t eat rest of breakfast & didn’t have time to reorder even though she asked if could get me anything else. She did apologise later as we checked out. I did say not what I expected as kitchen workers wear hats -she said the chef was bald. I know these things happen unfortunately. Think bfast could do with being served at 08.00 We arrived on Sunday at 16.00 -3 places in Wickham served food but only one open at this time. The soundproofing in the room did not prevent noise from next room Would I stay again -yes -not sure I’d have breakfast though "

"Place needs a pool and hot tub. Sink and tap design are very powerful so less is more.small fridges and in room safes would be a welcome addition to the top notch accomdations"
