"We loved our stay! We had everything we needed and more for our girls weekend. Joy has thought of everything and there were so many things in the house that made our stay wonderful, from the robes to the bar accessories. Everything was labeled and notes on how to use or navigate anything in the home. Easy check in and check out, this was the perfect home for our trip "

"We spent the weekend with friends and family at this amazing house! We have stayed at several VRBO's and this one was probably the best. From the clean and stocked house to the amazing sheets and towels that everyone took pictures of the tag so we could go home and order for our homes. The owner was easy and prompt with responses and incredibly friendly. The grounds are kept up and beautiful. Our kids enjoyed playing sports in the grass and the playground. We cooked out both nights using the multiple outdoor cooking areas. Its such an amazing home that we hope to stay again at soon. "

"Jamie was wonderful and communicative about every aspect of the trip. She was very compensating for my fellow guests and myself and the details provided about the surrounding area were fantastic. The photos of the listing were accurate and the bedrooms was more than accommodating. The only reason for the 4-stars for the accuracy is due to the lack of a “waterfall pool” - in the description of the property it lists a “waterfall pool table” which I believe could be some sort of an autofill issue. I would definitely stay here and recommend this place to people looking for something of the sort."

"HIDDEN GEM!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect and has a great warm and inviting feel. With so many options, you really have no choice but to relax, either on the porch, in the grotto, the seating area, hammock or by the fire. You are very secluded and unplugged, but there's still a lot to do within a 10 to 15 minute drive. We visited Hamilton pool preserve, swam in the collaped grotto and hiked to the river. On another day, we went to Reimer's park and hiked the Canyon trail (A MUST!), River trail and the Back door trail(also a must). The River trail has NO SHADE, I would do that one in the early or late part of the day. The sun is brutal from 11am-3pm. There's a cool food truck park not far and another gathering area with what looked like a few stores, a coffe spot and food trucks, we just didn't have time to go. Definitely check out the Texas Gadget Store on your way in or out. The host were amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be back to this cabin. "

"It was wonderful! Our host Jennifer was great and very responsive to our needs and questions. Their place was beautiful, roomy it made us feel at home. Jennifer provided us with many wonderful and unexpected treats and gifts. We have never had a more enjoyable stay. We wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Jennifer and her place!! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"The cabin was super cute. The hiking around the area was great. There were some eating places within 20 minutes close by, but we brought food and just cooked on site. The Boyds(the owners) were super nice and very helpful. Internet worked great. The beds were very comfortable. We had 5 people and were very comfortable with a place for everyone to sleep. Everything was very clean. My favorite part might have been the many hummingbirds coming to the porch for their daily sustenance. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, hill country stay close to many state parks. "
