"Property is absolutely awesome - better than advertised. It's in a beautiful location very near the big Trotternish nature sights (you can actually see it from the very top of the Quiraing hike), and the house itself is well-appointed, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Excellent stay. Not a critique, but something to be aware of is you're about 30 minutes from the very nearest restaurants, and things close early on Skye (also the nearby coffee shops weirdly only open at 11am), so you probably...

"If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!"

"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. "End House Inverness was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. We forgot it had two bathrooms, so we were so excited to see that it had that. The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day."

"The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. "This adorable cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to stores and restaurants, easy walk to anything we needed. Having a parking spot on the property was perfect, a convenience that made our stay. The property was clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. "This property has wonderful bones, the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. It is a wonderful location for exploring the nearby glens, the Black Isle and beyond. But the hosts/owners did not prepare us or the facilities for our visit... we had to reach out to learn how to get directions which were Snap-chatted to us, and to locate the key. "Objekt und Lage wie in Anzeige beschrieben, Sehr schön, super ausgestattet, hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr gute Idee mit dem Feldstecher in der Küche und dem Vogelbestimmungsbuch. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden."
