"I stayed in a deluxe suite, in hopes of the room being a little accommodating. The kitchen area, with a dining area included, had NO amenities outside of a microwave and a barely cold refrigerator. No silverware, no plates, no bowls, no paper towels, no glasses, absolutely nothing. After a full day and fun night we ended on the casino floor with drinks.. we go up to our room and no one can eat their food. When I called guests services, first I was told there wasn’t a kitchen area nor a microwave...
"Room was comfortable. Breakfast was Ok, a bit overpriced - $16 for one fried egg two strips of bacon on a toast English muffin with some aioli? Also, coffee was less than lukewarm. Half and half and sugar wasn’t brought to table either and waitress working coffee station became annoyed when I got up to help myself. Bathroom closest to eating area had no toilet paper. Can’t tell if staff is under trained or if understaffed."
"Room was lovely and the view spectacular. The only thing is I thought we were going to have a sofa in the room but only had a bench. Also the room was very dark. Not enough lighting for us old folks."
"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The view of the waterfront was lovely and the price of the room was reasonable. Overall, I would stay at the Best Western Waterfront in Windsor again and would recommend it to others.
The only negatives were slight: the bathroom was looking a bit worn and could use an update, and the panoramic view room can look into half the panoramic view room beside it - which can lead to some awkwardness if both rooms are populated."
