"Good stuff: very clean, tidy, quiet, good breakfast, attractive lobby and pleasant looking rooms. Plenty of parking spots. Staff was kind. Overall very nice for the price and would definitely stay again. Not so good stuff: One of the elevators had a door that opens and closes very slowly and became somewhat annoying. Hot tub was not working which was very inconvenient because the main reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub."

I travel extensively, and in West Houston this is where I like to stay. A bit larger than a boutique hotel, and close to Galleria and across from Uptown. One thing you will notice - the hotel is quiet and the rooms are well appointed (a bit of old school decor) and very "roomy." Granduca suites have a full kitchen and room to spread out. Bed and pillows were comfortable. because the hotel wasn't solid booked, it seemed pretty quiet. Biggest complaint is the AC unit does not have a setting for specific heat or cooling. If you go up one degree the heat comes on. If you go down one degree the AC comes on. It’s very odd. Breakfast was decent but kind of expensive. At least it’s available until 11am Also, I requested a late checkout at 1:30 and they obliged. That was nice of them.
