"This Hilton is going to be our new go-to in Boston. We’ve stayed at some of the other hotels around there (Sheraton, Weston), but this is our favorite. Why? 1. Nice and helpful staff, who are empowered to improve the guest experience. We were upgraded us to a lovely room with a curved window and view of Boston, and the staff was able to give us a later checkout. 2. Recently renovated. Beautiful gym! A/C system in the rooms is SILENT. Note: pool is still being renovated. 3. Great location. Walkable to Fenway, Pru mall, Copley square, Newbury st. 4. Small hotel, compared to the Sheraton across the street which is a conference hotel and has an impersonal feel. Highly recommend!"

2/10 Terrible

"This was shameful! They had the AC on and "couldn't turn it off" while it was in the 40s at night...supposedly they turn it on in May and can't switch it to heat or turn it off!!! They had a fireplace where you could see many people huddled around bfr they went to bed at night. There should be a notification on the website in advance....I paid over 900 dollars for three nights (that was with the measly discount of 15% off). They had college kids at the reception desk and some "mysterious manager" who they would call to address my and other customers concerns. They had no extra blankets. I literally had my face under the covers that's how cold it was at night. The tv was broken both nights and the shower looked like they put pure plastic over an existing bathtub. Luckily I took a shower before my 82 year old mother did so I could warn her about how slippery it was. No bath mat...horrific! Do not go here!!!"
