"Card in the lobby says it’s the oldest hotel in Britain—Mary, Queen of Scots stayed there in the 16th century— with later Georgian additions. Clean and comfortable, but definitely due for a major refresh. Breakfast was buffet style in a lovely sunlight filled restaurant."
