"We really enjoyed our stay and although there were a few issues that staff needed to improve on, once we drew reception's attention to these they were remedied. The hotel is pretty well maintained and very clean and is in a great sea front location with fabulous sea views. Breakfast was good."

"Fab week in Newlyn, a location we know very well. Great fisherman’s cottage with great amenities and fully equipped for our stay. Loved the stone flooring on the hot summer days. Our one small issue was no shower, as we didn’t realise when booking, but once we were accustomed to using the bath, this was not a problem. The team were very quick to respond to any questions asked of them. All in all we had a wonderful week in Newlyn, one of our favourite places in Cornwall."

"A brilliant cosy home like hotel with a lovely well comfortable room. The door entrance system was explained at check in and was easy to navigate. Highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to access the local area. It’s also a gentle walk from the hotel along the beach front into the town. Staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"This charming fisherman’s cottage was everything we wanted and more. The place is so very unique and decorated in a way that I just adored!! I so enjoyed all the beautiful decor and the garden! It is cozy and inviting and we felt so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we found it easy to use- same with the laundry. The location is ideal!!!! Very close to the bus stop and any food we needed- just between the fabulous ice cream shop and equally fabulous seafood restaurant. My husband and I would stay here again!! The large soaking bathtub was a treat and the shower was high enough to accommodate my tall husband- win win!! Thank you for sharing this place with us!! We found it very relaxing and enjoyed our stay so very much!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Penzance. The place was an easy walk from the train station and to the town centre. We took a day trip by public transit bus to St Ives for a day. Also walked to Lamorna Cove and to Marazion on other days.The rooms were bright and the furniture was comfortable. Our only issue was that the bay window looking out to sea was very much in need of cleaning - inside and out, and as the view from that window was featured and a real selling point for us - it was a disappointment. Other than that, the rooms were clean, the bedding was lovely and the bathtub was welcomed after long hikes! the Devon cream and croissants were appreciated."
