"Absolutely horrible experience. Forget complimentary water bottles—there wasn’t even a glass available in the room. When I contacted reception, I was told I needed to earn points just to access such basic amenities. That’s completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. I would genuinely prefer staying in a budget hotel over paying premium rates for Hilton. Extremely disappointing, and I won’t be choosing Hilton again."

"The room was clean and the bathroom a generous size with a good shower and the bed comfortable. However the room itself was small with nowhere to really put a bag or a case and the chair by the table blocked the wardrobe so it was not possible to access the wardrobe Unless the chair was moved. The breakfast was a great choice with freshly made hot food to order and there was a good supply of biscuits and drinks for the room. We were only there for the one night so the room size was not too much of an issue but to be borne in mind if staying longer. Everything else was great. "

"We stayed in Owls Burrow. The Room was lovely. Cheesecake in a dome on arrival. Jug of water. Tea and Coffee Facilities. Nespresso Machine. Dressing Gowns. Fan if needed. Complimentary Toiletries to use while staying. Mattress comfortable. However 3 of the pillows were lumpy or flat. Be aware that the room faces a busy road. So I was kept awake all night as I am a light sleeper. Unplugged the fridge as it only had fresh milk in. Too noisy to have kept on. We went down for breakfast. We chose a full english. It was adequate but not worth 15 pound. Drinks extra. The poached egg was not runny. Bacon was fatty."

"I held off posting this review as I sent the hotel a email first but it’s been nearly a week without a response for them to address my stay directly Very disappointed in my stay. Was given keys to an occupied room and shocked both myself and whoever was in the bed on entry. Given no explanation of what happened and no goodwill gesture for this distressing experience Furthermore the room was way too hot, despite leaving windows open all day, the pillows were dreadful all lumpy and breakfast selection limited, poor quality and cold This is the first time I’ve felt the need to post a review of any hotel but a four star hotel that cost me a lot of money I would have expected much better service. The main thing driven me to post this is the occupied room on arrival and the lack of any compensation provided for this experience. "

"We stayed one night and the room was a good price with a decent bathroom but the bed was uncomfortable for two people - we kept rolling together in the middle. We didn't have breakfast or use the bar so I can't comment on other aspects of the hotel. "
