The cutest cabin I've ever seen! Perfect rural location that was easy to get to from Edmonton. Immaculate inside, they supplied firewood for the wood stove, and it had everything needed for a winter getaway. The cabin stayed surprisingly warm during a cold snap, and the bed/pillows were incredibly comfortable. The owners were friendly and highly responsive to any questions. Would absolutely come back!

Amazing little cabin. Super cute. Beautiful country. Quiet and secluded. Does not have a table for playing games but we managed to improvise. The bathroom is short so my 6'4" husband could not fully stand in the shower but it is to be expected in a little house like that. Great experience!

This is always our go to when we are visiting family. This cabin is serene and quietly overlooks an open field to the west. The host family were very pleasant and accommodating.

Has everything you need. All cutlery, pot, pans, 2 burner plug-in stove top, toaster oven, all bedding, towels, body wash, shampoo, soap, dish soap etc. Just bring your food. The fridge is a bit larger then a smaller compact with a seperate little freezer that can hold much. The dog, Boone kept a watchful eye over us while at the firepit. A very polite dog. A serene, quiet getaway. 10/10 would recommende.

Pre Valentines Day Get Away

It’s super cozy. Super cute. It had everything we needed for a nice dinner and a great evening. It’s decorated very well. It had everything we wanted. The cozy wood stove was the highlight of the stay. The hosts communicated fast & were amazing to stay with. We both agreed we would return. Was a nice opportunity to reconnect and recharge together

Solitude, quiet, very clean!

Check in was easy, Everything was perfectly clean, very nice job in the beautiful layout and decor of the cabin and property. Very private and cosy. Pup was a great companion while sitting by the fire and stargazing. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, would love to visit in the winter to enjoy the wood stove!

Refreshing Reatreat

I was welcomed with farm freah eggs and apples. The faithful hounds came for evening visits. The pastoral views were so calming. The cabin is so cozy, and well supplied. It was a time of rest, relazation - and reconnecting wth so many friends in the Barrhead area. Overall, a wonderful week!

Xmas bliss

We were wanting a quiet space to unwind and unplug for Christmas, and that is exactly what we got. It was the perfect place for us to rest, relax, and regroup. From the indoor wood burning furnace, to the outdoor private fire pit, our bodies and our hearts were warmed. The furry visits and snuggles was the icing on top! Thank you Sonja and Byron for this sweet escape, and for surprising us with the delicious cookies :D

A Quaint Getaway

I enjoyed my stay in the tiny home cabin. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful and serene. It is a private area. The cabin and grounds are well cared for. The cabin may be small but as I discovered, it’s a very solid building. I felt safe in it throughout a severe rain wind and hail storm. I really appreciated the coffee (I forgot to bring it) and the sweet gesture of delicious homemade cake that Sonja personally delivered. Many thanks to the hosts for your hospitality and all of the special touches.

A restful retreat!

Whispering Winds was a wonderfully cozy and tranquil getaway! I wanted a sojourn to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, and that is exactly what I found here. The cabin was clean and beautifully designed, looking straight out of a magazine! I really appreciated all of the personal extra touches, such as fresh baked blueberry muffins, and festive seasonal decor in the way of tiny decorative gourds. 😊🎃 The property itself was beautiful and very peaceful. Daisy and Boone came to say hello! Communication with the owners was prompt and clear and very helpful. I felt very welcome and well taken care of! All in all, a fantastic trip in a beautiful spot!
