Ideal for families and small groups, this Victorian cottage in the heart of the town sleeps 5 with a double, a twin and a single room.
Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian backstreet, away from the noise of the road yet just a few yards from shops and cafes and only 5 minutes walk to the beach.
The vintage charm of this cottage is blended with contemporary fittings to ensure comfort and convenience whilst retaining its original features.
You will be able to unload your car outside, and parking is available in the streets around the cottage. We will provide free permits. Keys are kept in a key safe with the code provided prior to arrival.
Entering through the front door, you will immediately ascend a set of stairs, where you will find a large well equipped dining kitchen with modern shaker style cream units complete with an integrated fridge and freezer, a freestanding oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is also a separate wc/cloakroom on the first floor.
Another set of stairs takes you to a comfortable living room with an original cast iron fireplace, tv with Humax which offers more channels than freeview and a dvd player. There is a selection of books, dvds and board games. The cottage benefits from free wifi. Just off the living room is a single bedroom and contemporary bathroom with electric shower can also be found on this floor. The top floor has a double and a twin bedroom with views of Whitby Abbey.
This lovely cottage with its central location will quickly become a home from home for your holiday or short break. Please note that the cottage is located over 4 floors and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
