"We were very unimpressed with our stay here and felt quite misled by the photos and description. The listing uses words like “sanctuary” and “private”, but the property was much more exposed than expected — especially the spa area, which offered little privacy. The grass was also very muddy (we understand the weather can’t be helped, but it added to the overall lack of comfort).We found two cockroaches inside, which was gross, and there was a noticeable sewage-like smell at times. "We stayed at this property in late December 2023. Everything was wonderful. The rental is situated higher up on the hillside so the ocean view was such a treat. For a small fee we were able to use the outdoor pool, which also had a stunning ocean view. We walked down to the beach in the morning, and grabbed some coffees down there for a wonderful way to wake up. We'd love to return! Thank you for a great stay."
