"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Staff were great and most helpful. Chose to dine in the bar area and not the restaurant and the food was fantastic and value for money, drinks are a little more expensive than the norm. Room was clean, nice bathroom, would recommend for a stop off in the area, Dont expect 4/5 star luxury the building is 18th century and for that you have to take the fact its not modern but it is a fantastic place with lots to read and see everywhere in the building"
