"Our stay at Palm Bay was exceptional. It is simply magical. As Canadians, we pinched ourselves to see if it was real. VERY private location. Small capacity makes it feel very VIP and exclusive. It's a very private getaway with our own 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach. Palm Bay is absolutely a vibe. I'm so glad we opted to stay there rather than the overrun hotel style resorts on some of the neighbouring islands we visiated that have none of the private paradise feel of Palm Bay. "We stayed here for one night after a four day dive trip in the WhitSundays. Super convenient to the Marina with a great Cafe on the ground level. Apartment was super comfortable with a balcony overlooking the marina. "

"Having a kitchen and washer dryer is an expected bonus. We saved money by not having to eat out all the time and wonderful to be able to do laundry. The accommodation is standard but you get a spectacular swimming pool with million dollar view of the sea. The rooms are basic and not luxurious. The walk up the hill to Martinique makes you think twice of what you want to carry up from Woolworth’s. You do get a nice, unintended cardio workout. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended....

"An older motel but still with some water views. Situated just a short 5min walk from town and not uphill. 2 pools which both looked nice although too cold to try at the time. Include breakfast is only very basic continental however other option available to purchase. Did not dine in the restaurant but menu looked okay. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The blinds are the Venetian type and do not give any darkness once the sun is up. The shower did need a good clean with mould / scum...
