"While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. I shared the room with others so I would have liked a closed stall without the water spillage. I didn’t bother asking if other rooms were available due to it being a short trip but in the future we should be told at the booking and upon arrival before checking into the room. "

"A homey and cozy house for 4-5 people. Location is prefect for area beaches, restaurants and hiking trails. The kitchen was fully stocked and comfy decor. "

"this is a basic motel for a 1-2 night stay. Clean, easy parking, lots of retail on main road. "

"The cottage was quaint. It was the best supplied one we ever stayed in. It was very clean. The location was perfect to explore Newport, Jamestown, Providence, all the beaches etc. The best part was the hosts Ruth and Kenneth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When one of the 3 tvs wasn’t working he brought one of his own over to replace it. We highly recommend staying at the cottage ."

"A perfect getaway location!We had a short weekend away wish it was longer there is so much to see and do in Rhode Island. Jamestown is a great location easy to get to Newport,Narragansett,Westerly countless restaurants and bars to explore even in the middle of winter. We enjoyed the quick trip up to Gooseneck Vineyards and dinner at The Red Parrot suggested by our hosts and were so happy with both choices Check-in/out was simple great communication via email made everything streamlined.The house is clean and comfortable just as the pictures show. Plenty of small touches that make you feel welcomed including a welcome basket with wine, snacks, a coffee bar and even extra amenities in the bathroom for those forgetful guests 😉. The kitchen has everything you need to cook all your meals air fryer crockpot blender etc.Such a great deal less than most hotels in the area, already planning a trip back during the summer to sit by the fire pit and walk to the beach!"

"House is very pretty and spacious.Communication could have been better. I used the VRBO portal to try to resolve a miscommunication two days before arrival and it took a day and a half to receive a response. Host told me I should have texted him but I was never provided his phone number.There are 5 heat pumps/AC split system units but only one controller provided. This negates the feature of having guests be able to independently set temperatures to be comfortable in the lower level. Be prepared to bring extra towels - only 1 bath towel (old and tired) provided per guest and one hand towel per bathroom. "
