"Very basic, including the cleaning. We found dust and spider webs in many places. The location seemed nice, but it was too windy to enjoy the outside and the view from the top. The top outside furniture and floor/stairs were covered in bird poop, something which could easily be prevented by outdoor furniture coverings (not present) and a little cleaning before guests arrive. "We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building."

"Bel hébergement, bien situé. Un petit magasin est disponible au niveau de la marina. Un autre se trouve trouve un peu plus loin dans Volendam. La péniche bouge un peu lorsqu'il y a du vent, donc il faut tout de même s'assurer que vous n'avez pas le mal de mer. La cuisine est pratique pour se faire à manger. La ville est superbe et facile d'accès à pied."
