"My husband, my son & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Mike, who was at the front desk at check-in and through out our stay, was very nice, professional and efficient. The rest of the workers there were also kind, professional and efficient. The property was extremely clean. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool & the hot tub, which were the draws for us to this hotel, were well maintained. The breakfast was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much so we will be staying at this hotel every time we are coming to Williamsburg. Thank you so much to Mike and the rest of the Comfort Suites employees at this location."

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg

"This is not our first visit to Powhatan Hilton. Be prepared for the Hilton pitch when you check in for an upgraded stay if you want a tour...etc Our room smelled very strongly of smoke. But since we were only there for one night and completely exhausted after check in (busy day swimming in a water park) we decided just to suck it up where we normally would have said something. Unit is very spacious with two full bedrooms w private bath & they provide adequate utensils and appliances for a kitchenette. The area is lovely and wish we had a longer visit. Good to have a working laundry in the unit for quick clothes wash."

"Individuals at front desk were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was huge (room 201 - suite w/3 beds + 2 bathrooms), clean, and perfect for our family of 5. Blackout blinds were greater and very much appreciated. The free breakfast was okay - nice to have a convenient free option available, but not particularly good (just meh) . But lots of other options nearby so not a big dealz"

"Housekeeping was outstanding. Our check-in could have been better. We had a 4 day res, but had to check in a day later. I notified them, and spoke with Precious, who was very nice, and said she would notify it on my reservation, and we would be fine. I called the day of our arrival, and spoke with Bob, who also was very nice, to make sure we were good to go, and also to tell him we would be very late, because we were caught in a huge thunderstorm. We did not arrive until after 2:30am, but someone was there to check us in, after their smoke break. I have worked in the hotel business for 20+ years, worked all shifts, and tried to make sure guests were always greeted properly. I explained that our reservation was for the day before, and our keys may already be made. I received sort of a laugh, and was told, "That's not how we do it around here, honey. I would be the one checking you in." Fine. I had my ID out, and a CC for incidentals, Usually, using Expedia, it is under my name, but apparently, it was under my wife's name. I was told my ID was no good, need tbe person who made the reservation. I went out, got my wife, and finally got checked in. I don't get offended or irritated like a lot of snow flakes, because I know what it is like on the other side of the coin. Maybe it was the long 7 hr drive, and getting in late, but I did expect a better greeting. Everyone else was outstanding, and housekeeping did a fantastic job."
