"The hotel was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was nice and big. They have an essence spray as you walk into reception that weirdly just makes the whole place feel inviting. However I found the room to have a very strong smell of damp, there was a lot of dust on top of the curtains, and lamp shades. "What can l say other than what a fantastic stay we had at this beautiful old hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Emma, who was wonderful and so supportive to my wife with her mobility issues. Everyone went out of there way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The room was first class, the evening meal was exceptional, and the breakfast was superb.
