"Was very comfortable. Nice area. Would recommend for someone that wants to relax. Only drawback is owner lives upstairs, so you do hear walking around and a little noise from upstairs. But overall it is worth it for a nice stay."

"This is a beautiful house on a lovely lake. It made a wonderful home base for our long weekend while we were in the area for our son's college graduation. Kris and Alan are fabulous hosts and they were readily available when a couple of questions popped up. There were so many amenities included in the house plus loads of extras like the makings for s'mores. Everything was labeled, so it was easy to feel at home. The lake is gorgeous, and there are kayaks and a canoe that guests can use, as well...

"A sweet home with amazing views and access to the lake. The hosts thought of all the things we would need and had a well stocked home. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and games to use. There were spaces to relax and enjoy both inside and out. The yard felt very private even though other people were next door. We had eight people in our group and though I wouldn’t describe the house as large, it did not feel small for our group. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!"

"My small family wanted something peaceful, yet nothing boring. This place offered the perfect hide-away. Located in a quiet quaint town where period houses are real dwelling homes, not museums. There’s a real-deal authentic Chinese less than 10 mins away! To top everything, the host provided 5-star welcome and kindness. The early accommodation was a true respite from the long drive. "What a wonderful weekend our book club had staying in the beautiful lake front house! So relaxing, and quiet! Great little town with charming little places to enjoy. Our visit to the local winery was so much fun and the gals there told us to check out a local town celebration which we enjoyed going to. I can’t think of one thing that would have made this weekend any better! We would definitely recommend staying here, and look forward to possibly making this a yearly destination."
