"What an amazing property! The cabin is modern and clean, the space is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet retreat in the Adirondacks. The mirror cabin is so unique and very private. The sauna was amazing, it felt like you were sitting outside in the woods. Everything 2 people need is provided without any extra clutter or unnecessary items. The bed is big and comfortable with amazing views of the property. The location is perfect, close to nice restaurants and shops and great hiking - we...

Grandview Lake Placid

10/10 Excellent

"Our balcony was facing container dumpsters, so not the most picturesque objects, but if you can ignore that, the mountains were just gorgeous. We also had a dog with us and found it a bit strange not having any designated area allowing dogs where you can eat in the hotel, especially with a strict rule of not leaving your dog in the room alone. Otherwise, would love to come back, probably, not with the dog."

Cadence Lodge at Whiteface

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay at Cadence Lodge! Our room was clean and comfortable, and very charming with local Adirondack decor. Shelly lit the fire pit in the evening and there was lots of wood to keep the fire burning. There is a delicious home cooked breakfast on the weekend included with your stay. The location is great. Close to Whiteface Mountain for skiing and other activities, just a short drive to Lake Placid and near lots of hiking trails. It was a perfect place to enjoy the fall foliage. Best of all was the onsite restaurant for dinner. We’re in the area a lot and had never tried it before. Boy have we missed out. The food was delicious with lots of innovative choices along with some classics. A full bar and really cozy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!"

Whiteface Farm Adirondack Bed and Breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed a 2 night stay in room 2 which had a king size bed and private bath. There is a well furnished common area with large TV and the property is well maintained. The breakfast is excellent. The only improvement to suggest would be to add a TV in the bedroom."

High Peaks Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay in the resort's Waterfront collection was great! The Junior suite was literally on the water with beautiful views. It's a large room with gas fireplace, jetted tub, separate shower, dual sinks and a comfortable king bed. Nearby Black Bear restaurant on Main St. was a favorite, with only a two minute walk for great food. We didn't have the chance to use their kayaks or paddleboats, but did take advantage of the hot tub and indoor pool in the Lake House for post-hikes recovery. This was the one area clearly in need of renovation. Overall, the High Peaks Resort's Waterfront collection is now one of our top choices to stay in Lake Placid."
