"Central location in town. 2 big car parks 5 mins away. Walking distance to many cafes & restaurants. Corinium Museum and St John Baptist Church only a few minutes away. Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Room is very comfortable. Fresh cookies baked on site was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended."

"This location if this hotel was perfect. I wa attending the Literary Festival and it was an easy 20 minute walk. Great choice of restaurants and bar opposite. Parking with discount was convenient."

"Wonderful stay, lovely hotel, fab staff. Small gripe was the wait gor breakfast on the first morning but it was very busy tbf."

"AC was not very good, fortunately it wasn’t too hot when we visited, but would imagine a heat wave would be tough. Hotel was nice, showing its age in places. Staff were helpful and friendly!"
Wild Thyme & Honey

"Ive stayed in nicer rooms , ive ate in nicer bars but ultimately its the people that make a hotel. And the people at wilde thyme and honey are fantastic. A special shout out to Izy who couldn't do enough to help. The rooms are cosy and warm with thoughtful touches like pillow spray and a spot of sloe gin which was beautiful, the on site restaurant/ pub was lovely with a great drinks selection. The pantry is a useful addition for extra bits that you may need during your stay. One genuine gripe is that the car park is dangerously dark after dark. There is no lighting at all. All in all it was great. I would return for sure."
