Absolutely lovely place! The staff were so kind and the rooms were perfect for us. Limited parking on site but street parking nearby. The pub was fabulous. Best hotel in the Cotswolds! We would stay here again for sure.

Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return....

This is an old coaching inn in a small country town with independent shopping along the high street , which is where the hotel is located . Parking is at the rear of the hotel easily accessed from the high street . Our room ( the Broadway Suite ) was a good size with a stand alone bath tub and separate shower and was well heated . Breakfast was good with a nice choice and we had dinner there on two of our three nights , which speaks well to the quality of the food . Last but by no means least...

AWESOME hotel! Great staff, rooms are exquisitely appointed with color and style. Beds are SUPERB: slept better in their bed than my own lol! Will be back!

Spent one night during a tour of the Cotswold area. The hotel is on a very quiet street adjoining a green square. Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice--larger than some small British hotels--extremely clean, very modern bathroom. One big window overlooking Clarence Square. Also has its own small car park so parking was easy. The included breakfast had everything from full English to fruit and pastry. Easy walk into the downtown area. The steps are pretty steep (no elevator)...

Room was very clean however very compact and narrow for a family of 4. Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful and great to work with. Breakfast was very good! Only issue was that I misread that the pool was not onsite and was only accessed via a local shared pool in another area of the town. Parking was not included and was in a multistory next door with a subsidized rate.

Great customer service, great chef, so accommodating and friendly. Very nice people made everything enjoyable on our travels and during our stay. Just no elevator so a little difficult for elders but manageable.

Amazing stay to see the Cotswolds. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and located in the middle of town close to many shops and restaurants. We got one of the parking spots the first day but the second day no parking was found. The hotel staff directed us to a temporary parking then recommended we look for parking after dinner. This recommendation worked very well. The room was quite warm in July but they provided us with a fan on request. Definitely recommend

Quaint little cottage in the village.

Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.
