"The hotel was lovely but the swimming pool was small and there were children splashing around the who time so not very relaxing. The waitresses for the meals are not very efficient. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken. At breakfast, the food was not replenished and it was difficult to find someone to take orders from the kitchen."

We complained and were promptly offered another room, but it appeared that the mould issue came as no surprise to the staff. The housekeeper told us that it had been a problem for a long time. The new room had no mould, but did have a toilet that had not been cleaned. It was quickly taken care of, The breakfasts were excellent, although the tables were so sticky that it was as if the plates and cutlery were glued down. Overall, The Manor House Hotel did not meet expectations for a 4-star property. "

When arrived at the hotel we were told there was no availability for massages on any of the 3 days we were staying so in my opinion little point in calling yourself a spa hotel if you have 1 part time person available to do massages "
