"You couldn’t ask for a better beach. Very private. Saw 5 others one day, every other day 2 or none. Brand new grocery store opened in GH (finally). Head and shoulders above anything else on the island. The only slight disappointment was new house built right next door. It was never a problem, just different than our previous stays there. Still - a 10 out of 10"

"Tradewinds was just what we needed as a spot of relaxation before a big wedding. Jethro was so considerate and came by to make sure our stay was going well and to find out if we needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed the home with comfortable beds and clean refreshing pool. The 3 min walk on the sand path through the palm trees opening to the breathtaking Atlantic beach was a bonus. We hope to come again!"

The beach is fantastic, you feel you're on a deserted island. I 100% would go back. I have to say we dined out everywhere but the food was fabulous at their restaurant. "Wow! This is truly an amazing place! The location, the view of the ocean from the house, and the house itself was beautiful! We had the beach all to ourselves and took long walks, snorkeled, did some fishing and relaxed by the ocean. We stargazed on the deck in the evening! The house had everything we needed and our host was very responsive when we reached out with any questions, and very easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here - we were sad to leave! You won’t be disappointed! "

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Purple Papaya. The cottage was super clean and well stocked. The views were phenomenal! We walked the beach every day. We enjoyed Tippys, for lunch and dinner. We could hear the music from our back porch, while enjoying the pool . Would definitely recommend staying at Purple Papaya. "

"We stayed for a week here as a group of 8, and had an awesome experience! The house was wonderful with ocean access and views, a large, clean pool and pool toys, watercraft, and well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. We rented a car, which was a good choice because it made it so much easier to run to Governor's Harbour, restaurants, and the many, many beaches nearby, as well as to explore the island. The locals were all friendly and helpful as well! The only complaint I'd have is that the house is in need of a serious deep cleaning, and the watercraft was difficult to get in and out of the water, with the way the water access is set up, but we're a low maintenance crew, and that didn't stop us from having an amazing vacation! Overall, a wonderful time for our first-time experience in the Bahamas! "
