"The house itself was loveley. Very clean and comfortable, and within a short walking distance of Windermere town centre. Ample parking for two cars. However, the house is located in a rather run down area of the town, next to a park where youths gathered in the evening. On two seperate evenings the house was pelted with eggs, and on one occasion an egg was thrown into the house through the open patio doors. We found this very disturbing, and it spoliled our holiday overall. We did not want to...

"We had a really nice stay in this house on the edge of Windermere. The house was really clean, well equipped, has comfortable beds, plenty of space and a good shower! Comms with the owner was really clear and timely and the location is fantastic - walking distance into Bowness and wonderful view of the lake. Probably one of the best holiday houses I've rented."
