"On arrival they told me we couldn't dine there that night. I pointed out that I didn't travel hours to a remote hotel just to sleep there. I asked to see the manager and was about to demand a refund when they decided I could be squeezed in. This was at 3 PM not last minute (dinner was set for 7.30 pm), The receptionist was initially unhelpful and initially said we could eat in the bar. She also claimed the menu was the same (it was not). A terrible first impression and I was tempted to just...

"We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with black mould around the edges of the shower. The bedroom...

Milton Keynes

"The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The common areas of the hotel were maintained to a basic level but require investment. The rooms although spacious were in my opinion poorly maintained (shoddy repairs and decoration). The curtains are badly maintained/fitted, soft furnishings require attention (torn fraying cushion). Frayed/short carpet refitted poorly after repair or redecoration? The bathroom tiles have stained grout and mould to many areas....
