"Opportunity for a bit of nostalgia when visiting family back home. Amazing grounds and gardens and the hotel has history going back to 1908. We were in good company, as the corridors are adorned with celebrities who have visited over the years. "

"Our stay was very good value and nothing to much trouble for the staff. Room clean and comfy. Breakfast was brilliant! Cant really fault it at all, its our 2nd stay and will be back. Cocktails are an added bonus! Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel is an easy 15 mins walk away from the town centre or bus stops outside. Staff pleasant and very helpful. The room was large and clean but in need of an update. Easy parking in the hotel's car park. Breakfast is reasonably price but finishes very early at 8.30. Good cooked breakfast but other choices are limited."

"The hotel is excellent.. we had the garden room which was wonderful.. the only problem we had was people came outside to smoke and you could here them.. late at night and early in the morning.. otherwise nothing wrong.. plenty of free parking also.. will be staying again when up that way.. thank you "
