A wonderful inn in a stunning coastal village of historical interest. The staff were very helpful and kind, with a sense of ease that encourages relaxation and appreciation. The manager, Scott, in particular provided an excellent welcome. We hope to return! Thank you very much, Kelly & Oreste

Great cute cottage. Super friendly reasonable pub on site. Nice people. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Castle Inn. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but are also quirky and characterful. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and everything we tried was delicious. We ate in the pub on both evenings of our stay and enjoyed dinner very much. The location is great too. A peaceful corner of Dorset but with wonderful coastal walks and the beautiful Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door close by. We loved...

A great hotel very near (4 kilometers) near Durdle Door with very accomodating staff. Even though I arrived late for dinner and their cook had gone home, they pleasantly went out of their way to prepare dinner for me. They served a hearty breakfast good enough to sustain you for long walks along the Jurassic coast. I would definitely go back again.

This was my favorite place to stay while in Britain. The owners are wonderful, the food was the BEST I ate in the country, and the atmosphere was perfect.

A nice room, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast.

Such a nice place to stay and very beautifully antique yet modern. The view of the castle was amazing from our room and it was a nice walk through the quaint town to visit the castle. Breakfast was great and so nice that it was included. Dinner was very good too.

Picture you’ve come off the road, your adventure into the castle on the hill is set for the next morning. You go into the warm inviting

Beautiful building. Ian, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended place to stay.

The Bay Tree House was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable; Gary was friendly and helpful; and the location is a short walk to town. I also walked to both of Thomas Hardy’s homes. Max Gate was a leisurely ten minutes away; the cottage was a longer walk, but the route through the Dorset countryside was indescribably beautiful.

Great place to stay. Comfortable, good breakfast, friendly host. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Hotel! Great Staff! Excellent Breakfast! Thanks!

Bit tricky to get in but very clean and comfortable and great breakfast

Nice location and sociable management. Very close to piers, restaurants, and bus. Clean and well kept.

What an absolute lovely stay. Very simple yet very well executed. The dinner was absolutely delicious, really mesmerizing, don’t skip it! Breakfast was included and it was amazing!!!

Perfect stay for anyone visiting Dorchester. Hotel is super clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Parking needs to be pre-booked but there are a number of car parks close by. Hotel is 'room only' which works really well as there is no pressure to get to breakfast! Loads of choices within a 5 minute walk of the hotel which includes the 'Horse with the Red Umbrella' and the Dorset Museum. Room's are comfy and provide everything you need for your stay. There is a handy vending machine wher you...

It was an amazing place. From the website I somehow thought I had booked a hostel, so I was very happy to find out it was actually a nice B&B. I had great views from my room, excellent breakfasts and enjoyed chatting with the owners who were very friendly. I will be staying here again next year,
