"What a delightful experience it was to stay at Instow Barton B&B and be hosted by Colin & Caroline. Happy, bubbly and a very friendly reception on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of there way to make us feel welcome in there home. Very generous size bedroom, large barthoom and cake was in our room everyday! Breakfast menu was extensive and varied. Quality of food was of a 5 Star standard and presented in a timely and professional manner. I’d go as far as to say that...

"Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would highly recommend. "

They catered for my dietary needs and the presentation of the food was excellent. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house. "A very warm welcome was given by the couple when we arrived. Our room was comfy and clean and had all the usual amenities you would expect. There was an outdoor pool and a very nice decking area which was very inviting. A very tasty breakfast was had the next day with very attentive service. "
