"The elevator is terrible"

"Meh. This property needs some love. Worn carpets, front door on the fritz, leaky ceiling in the breakfast area, broken Nespresso machine, ice maker not working. The buffet was pretty sad - lukewarm coffee, waffles that were barely edible, and just generally not worth the price. I’ve stayed at the other AC Mariott in Somerville and it was MUCH better. Likely won’t book again. On the upside, it’s located next to a lovely walking path. "

"I have to say I am very dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel. We reserved a deluxe king room on the executive level with a sofa bed, but upon arrival, none of these rooms were available. Instead, we were given a handicap-accessible room on the second floor facing a back patio where people gathered and talked at all hours. To make matters worse, instead of a proper sofa bed, my son was given a rollaway bed with an extremely hard mattress. The bathroom lacked even basic space to place toiletries, and the bathtub was clogged for the first two days. I reported this issue on the first day, but it wasn’t addressed until I complained again the following day. I requested a room change twice, but was only offered a similar room without handicap features—not the room category I had originally paid for. After four nights, it was clear that getting the room we reserved was simply not going to happen. Additionally, the club lounge is closed on weekends, something that was never disclosed anywhere during booking. As a frequent traveler and a Platinum member with Expedia, I was especially disappointed by how this situation was handled. The staff repeatedly used the excuse that my reservation was made through a third party, and as a result, made no real effort to improve our stay or provide a satisfactory solution. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations and was extremely frustrating."

"My stay at Bedford Hotel Plaza was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the place felt neglected and poorly maintained. The swimming pool was completely unacceptable — there wasn’t even any water in it. Instead of being a relaxing hotel facility, it looked abandoned and unusable, which was incredibly disappointing considering it was advertised as one of the hotel amenities. The room itself was just as bad. The windows didn’t even close properly, which meant constant noise from outside and cold air coming in all night. It made it almost impossible to sleep comfortably, and it also felt very unsafe. Breakfast was the final disappointment. Not only was the food low quality and poorly presented, but there were actual bugs around the breakfast area. Seeing insects near food completely ruined my appetite and raised serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. Overall, the entire hotel felt run-down, unhygienic, and badly managed. I would absolutely not recommend Bedford Hotel Plaza to anyone looking for a comfortable or clean place to stay. There are far better hotels for the same price. Very disappointing experience."

"Room was clean but noisy the hotel literally is on top the highway and you can get the whole thing from outside thru the wall A/C we tried to turned the heat at night and has a humid smell that stinks the whole room. Have to call to front desk around midnight due to some kids playing hockey in the hallway apparently was normal that parents let the kids been disrespectful and the front desk lady was rude and apologized saying that was my fault feel like that in resume I will never be back to this hotel my 3 nights were horrible "
