We were able to check in early as our room was ready and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out so we could go round the town. "Loved this hotel. The location was great. The price was good. The staff was friendly. And it was clean, they took care of us. I would 100% stay here again. I would say there should be some upgrades made to the tv to be bigger, a more comfortable mattress, and if there was a way to make the floors less squeaky that’d be great. "Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"
