Room was clean, staff were helpful and polite, parking was reasonably priced. Breakfast was basic and room was a bit stuffy with limited ventilation. Decent enough hotel. One thing I would mention is the six minutes to the beach is accurate enough. However, coming back that way means hauling yourself up that steep winding cliff path. Advice: Get fit or take the 20 minute detour.

The air conditioning worked well, which was nice to see. There weren't any towels in the room but I got some from reception, so all was fine. The room was a little dusty and there wasn't a desk to work from but I got by ok. Good location only a few minutes from main areas.

One Night to go to The Pavilion Theatre. Only 15 Mins walk - parking can be a premium in town - already paid £10.00 for 24hrs. Reception staff very friendly Bar prices reasonable Room - in need of decoration - stained and marked carpet - flaking wallpaper - security device on door not fit for purpose. Bathroom - in dire need of decoration - missing plaster painted over - shower screen fouls on basin - toilet roll holder funny position. Breakfast - continental with fills ciabatta rolls (bacon/sausage/cheese and pesto) - if I’d paid separately I’d be disappointed bus as it was in the room price it was just acceptable.

I had a lovely stay i was made to feel welcome. The room was clean, it had everything i needed. I am already thinking to book it again for July kids were happy so that makes me a happy mama. It's a good location walking distance to the beach and shops its a win win.

Our family came for two nights stay for a seaside trip. All we asked or requested the Hotel for were met by them. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were giving us excellent service and utmost attention that made us so very warmly wrlcimed. They were so patient and understanding etc. These are all the special qualities that makes this hotel a special place to stay at.

Family room with kitchenette

Large clean quiet family room with kitchenette (fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, sink, cutlery, tin opener, crockery) Shelving for luggage and hanging rail with hangers. Good lighting plus bedside spotlights. Shower takes 5 min to get warm and is rather weak. Bath panels a bit mouldy but everything else in working order. The room is a bit dark but didn’t bother us too much. Slightly smelt of dog.
