"Wonderful Staff, but the Hotel Needs Improvement – Sofitel London Heathrow I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel London Heathrow, and the highlight was undoubtedly the amazing staff. A special thank you to Gursharon for making my stay so lovely. The service and hospitality were greatly appreciated and really made a difference to my overall experience. However, there were a few areas that I felt let the hotel down, particularly considering the price and the luxury reputation of the Sofitel brand. The spa was extremely overpriced. I paid £40 for just three hours, yet I wasn't permitted to return the following morning. For that price, I would have expected a little more flexibility and better value for money. It also seems unreasonable that guests cannot enjoy the spa for longer than three hours at a time, especially when staying at the hotel. The room itself was also disappointing. Despite booking a luxury room, the decor felt very outdated, there were no convenient plug sockets near the bedside, and the air conditioning and switches did not work properly. The lack of natural light and windows also made the room feel quite claustrophobic rather than relaxing and luxurious. Additionally, the tv options were limited, and I felt the food menu lacked variety, with not enough appealing choices. Overall, I had a lovely stay thanks to the fantastic staff, particularly Gursharon, who deserves recognition for their excellent service. Unfortunately, the facilities, room condition"

"Location: Excellent! The hotel is a 10–12-minute walk from Victoria Station. Within a two-block radius, you’ll find supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, and other conveniences. The street is very safe and well-lit, making it a great location. Staff: The person who checked me in was not particularly helpful. However, the weekend manager (an Eastern European lady whose name I unfortunately forgot) was amazing, professional, and welcoming. Thomas, the Head of Maintenance, was also outstanding, accommodating, and always willing to help. Accessibility: This hotel is best suited for travelers with light luggage, as there are no elevators—only stairs. If you’re staying on the second or third floor, be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. Cleanliness: The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and very well-kept. Rooms and Amenities: The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. Two people may find the space quite cramped, depending on their size and luggage. There is also no closet or dresser with drawers, so storage space is very limited. The bathroom is extremely small—think airplane bathroom! That said, the bed was comfortable, and the bedding, towels, and toiletries were all good quality. Overall: A great location, a clean and well-maintained property, and some truly excellent staff members. Just be aware of the small rooms, compact bathroom, limited storage space, and lack of an elevator when booking."

"The lobby is spacious and pretty. The room is clean and comfortable. However the bed is supposed to be a king but the bed is actually two beds put together because we can feel a gap between the two beds. The location is convenient too. Within walking distance to markets and restaurants."
