"Although under construction in the front facade, the hotel was very nice and very clean."

"Check in was speedy and the grounds are really well presented. The room was clean and bedding was cosy however, the velvet arm chair had a lot of dust on the back of the back cushion, and definitely had some unpleasant ‘treasures’ down the side of the seat cushion. I slept well, bed was comfy, it actually wasn’t noisy considering you are right by the main road. You wouldn’t know. The shower pressure and temperature was perfect!! That was such a luxury. The hairdryer was great, the straighteners didn’t work but that wasn’t a big deal because I had my own. Now…I’m sorry but, NO KETTLE IN THE ROOMS! This might just be the most British thing I’ve ever written but any time I wanted hot water I had to leave my room, walk to the hot water tap in the communal hallway and then go back to my bedroom. This might not sound like a big deal but at 9:30pm at night, I’m in my pjs and want a hot water bottle. I had to have the mortifying experience of seeing other hotel guests in the hallway filling my hot water bottle. Cup of tea at 6am, yep, back to the communal hallway to fill my mug up. Just got up, major bed hair and pjs. Staff were super helpful, lovely girl resembling Harley Quinn in the restaurant was so lovely and proper service with a smile. She was so sweet. I would stay here again but not having a kettle was an issue for me."

"Great location for the Cotswolds, easy parking. Breakfast was great, the host was such a kind young man. I’ve forgotten his name but always so helpful and a huge smile on his face and so helpful to his coworkers. I booked too late for the spa therapies so all that was left was a 25min massage which was disappointing because we were hoping for longer. The massage itself was WONDERFUL! The spa facilities are small, did honestly expect slightly bigger. There was only one lounge chair around the pool area. The spa also functions as a community club so some mornings it was filled with mommy and me swim classes so it limited the times you really wanted to be down there. Not sure if there are any adult only times. Also had trouble with the TV- it’s meant to be able to stream to so you can use your own Netflix or other services but simply could not connect. It was so much an issue that other guests were discussing it as well. Called the front desk and the receptionist simply said I don’t know much about it and didn’t offer anything else. Could be good to look into that. Overall still a good stay but had different expectations for the spa side of things."

"Having stayed in Bath three weeks earlier, I was disappointed at the cleanliness of our property and how small the bedroom was. The breakfast, however, was excellent. We, therefore, decided to try the Hilton. My son had stayed at the Double Tree three weeks prior and was very pleased. We went for the Hampton as it was closer to the station. On arrival, the reception team were first class. The room (424) was excellent. It was roomy and spotless. We enjoyed the rugby between Bath and Exeter. The breakfast on Sunday morning was lovely. So much choice and all good quality produce. We will not hesitate to return."
