"The weather was not particularly kind to us during our stay so the property's great location helped enormously in keeping us dry (being literally metres from the Roman Baths, the Abbey and Heritage Centre). With five adults and two teenagers the property's size accommodated us all easily. Paul was very welcoming and despite the weather we all enjoyed our stay."

"We could not wish for a better house for the weekend. The property was so impressive and very well equipped. It was spacious and so clean and little touches were amazing. The best part of the house was the outdoor space and the pool and hot tub which was heated and very clean. The hosts were amazing and really made the stay so special and were always on hand to answer any questions. I would definitely come back here as it’s perfect for any occasion."

"Room was "clean" but the general condition of the kitchen & bathroom was not good. Damp & mouldy door frames, smells damp, curtain blind would only half shut. Whatever room was above mine had someone who stomped around & sounded like they were dragging furniture every night until around midnight. Staff were friendly to deal with via email but communication was patchy in regards to adding a towel to my room & feedback in regards to the condition of the room. Wifi not great, some apps would not...

"We had a wonderful five nights in top barn! The views are incredible the barn is small but cosy. Cathy was great stayed in touch, and we loved the local gifts left as well. We visited lots of castles, explored the beautiful Wye Valley and walked some of Offa's way too. Highly recommend."

"Lots of properties say they are dog friendly but rarely are they so dog welcoming!! My two adult sons, Labrador and I had a four night break to coincide with the end of Uni term. The barn was pristine upon arrival and Liz was very welcoming and had thought of everything, from the secure exercise area for Zena (Lab) to the breakfast items for us. "We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Loved our stay at this perfect accommodation and the hosts could not be more welcoming. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Bath and the train station was a 3 min walk. There is a wonderful pub just down from the apartment that had the best breakfast and an Indian rewrite some of the best Indian ever. The grocery across the street was perfect for grabbing groceries as well. Would 100% recommend."

"Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again"
