Communication before arrival was prompt and Taiko even dropped any plans to pick me up at the local station saving me money on further transport. Over the 2 week period i stayed here this family made sure i was fed and clothes were cleaned, inviting friends and family around for both food and Karaoke has been hospitality i never knew was possible. "ゲームコーナーや、リビングルームの大きなテレビに子供たちは大満足でした。キッチンの設備もほぼなんでも揃っていました。夜中、暴風雨の音と幹線道路を通るトラックの音が気になりましたが、子供たちはぐっすり眠れたようです。17時以降は周辺のお店はほぼ閉まってしまうし、コンビニが近くにないので、手前の町で買い物を済ませておかないと困ってしまうロケーションです。オーナーさんとは顔を合わせませんでしたが、とても親切なご案内メールをいただきました。海が近くて綺麗な夕陽が思い出になりましま。"

"Loved the place, and would like to return with the family. Well renovated and comfy on the inside, the outside might do with another coat of paint. Easy and friendly check-in/check-out, and at breakfast. Did not have time to enjoy any of the amenities - next time!"

"My daughter and I have stayed at this hotel every summer 5 to 7 days past 12 years. We've stayed at corner queen and two double beds rooms. The rooms are not large, but modern, clean, and functional. The staff are good and helpful. The breakfast buffet features local dishes. It's excellent. The kitchen staff are good. The dining room is opened for free drinks, ice cream, and this year, for night time soba. There are larger rooms, which are great for families. There are always many people on their business trips. Minutes by walk to a large supermarket, seven eleven, Yamagata train station, and other places. It's more expensive than other hotels around the area."

The property is very picturesque with a nice garden & waterfall. - Great dinner in private dining room with helpful staff - Buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of quality food - Large bedroom with good beddings & aircond - Nice bathroom with separate toilet This hotel is at the top of our return list."

"Absolutely incredible! The staff was very friendly and the onsens were relaxing. We didn't realize there was a shiatsu massage chair in the room. That was a definite bonus. We went for the junior suite, which was a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny. I would definitely recommend the upgrade. "
