Great hotel, great location, superb staff

"The staff in this hotel are what makes it 5 star. Polite, respectful and so helpful. Huge room, spotlessly clean. Big bathroom and huge shower Had breakfast once, great value but far too much. My wife was unwell for most of the 12 days but they looked after us so well. Was stuck in bed for 4 days and in room 6 days. Lots of hot water. Towels and bedding could be better but no big deal. Could feel a bit noisy at times as sound travelled far due to building design. Not excessive though and never too late. Cleaning staff were exceptional and so kind. Always ampke towels, water and toiletries. Thank you Location great. Right in centre of old town Short walk to Icherisheher metro station. Couple of steps into the centre. Great being in an old walled part of city. Beatiful parks and streets were spotless."

Thumbs up all round!

"Jeyhan was splendid and offered us our rooms hours before the actual check-in time. They were also kind enough to send through a cake on my birthday! Yes, its a little remote but its a mere 5 AZN from the prime points of the city. Travel within Baku is ridiculously cheap by global standards so you will have no issues getting around on the cheap. The amenities at the property are quite modern and do not need updating. "

Nice hotel with large rooms

"Lovely hotel on the outskirts of town but easy walk to Bakmil metro station (although trains there are limited). Nice very spacious room, with seating area. Excellent gym. Superb breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff, especially hotel manager, restaurant manager, restaurant waiter & girls cooking omelettes. Sadly some hotel guests were less than pleasant & we saw too many people handle the food at breakfast & then return it. The shower is lovely & huge but needs a thermostat as it goes between warm, hot & cold without you touching it. This is dangerous when the water is hot. Recommend."
