The only (very slight) downside is the restricted parking on the Homend - but there are a number of both short and long stay car parks within an easy walking distance. "Picked this hotel for great location and price. Used as a stopover on the way to Cornwall. Staff friendly & professional. The room was clean, shower was good. There’s no air con, but a fan was provided. Duvet very heavy & pillows were also thick & lumpy, so this made for an uncomfortable night. Due to this we’d probably pick somewhere else next time. Good choice & price of drinks from the bar, didn’t use the restaurant as only stayed one night but food choices looked ok. Also would have liked to try the leisure facilities but didn’t feel like it after the poor night’s sleep. Lots of parking which cost £7 per night."
