The Keep

8/10 Good

"The accommodation was good, clean & within walking distance of town centre & had parking, we didn’t have the breakfast so cannot comment on that ."

Quicksilver Mail

8/10 Good

"Although I had a single room and it was basic. I had a comfortable nights sleep and the bedding and en-suite shower room was very clean no expense spared with towels etc. Coffee and tea were provided and a utility room with fridge with milk and water were provided. However, the pub does not supply a cooked full english breakfast. The landlord was very helpful and provided tea or coffee in the bar, as and when. Plus there is a Spar corner shop 6 mins walk from the pub, where you can get snacks etc. * There is an exceptional roast dinner and dessert menu, available from 12.00-18.00"

Stoneleigh Barn B&B

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. Rupert was very helpful and nutmeg the little dog 🐕 is super friendly and cute - I wanted to bring her home haha. There is plenty of parking space and a covered area if you are travelling on a motorbike like we were. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We would definitely go back 😋"

Pen Mill Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. Breakfast was very nice, fresh and plenty of it. We didn’t eat in the evening, however if breakfast is anything to go by we will be on our next stay. All in all, we will be going back. Due to location we could walk to the hospital (which is why we chose this) also walking distance to the main town - even though it is up and down a few hills but a pleasant walk."
