"Basic but clean and spacious room. Was a little cold initially but soon warmed up with the heating although this was a little noisy! Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was OK, usual basic choice but adequate."

"Had a lovely weekend stay here in November, the place is charming and has a lot of character. The room was large, clean , well furnished and there was everything you needed , I also loved the view and that you could look out and see the thatched roof . Check in was easy , all the staff we met over the weekend were very welcoming , friendly and helpful so it made you feel very relaxed. New management had just taken over when we stayed , I was really happy with stay here and would recommend it. "

The bar and restaurant were tastefully decorated and the lighting and roaring woodburners made for a cosy experience. Will gladly sstay again when passing through the area. "
